This series investigates the intersection of celestial influence and pop-culture resilience, inspired by a period of profound recovery following a major spinal injury and subsequent infection. Each piece begins with an exploration of the "stars" that define my aesthetic—ranging from the iconic influence of Andy Warhol and Missoni to the 17th-century astronomical legacy of Vincenzo Viviani. These works aim to capture a sense of karmic continuity and healing, exploring how astrological mapping and light-responsive glazes can give the historical bond between student and master a deep, resonant, and physical presence.
