New Life

This series investigates the intersection of personal transition and atmospheric memory, inspired by the shift in light and environment following my emigration from Canada to the UK. Each piece begins with a fluid, organic core that is gradually encased through multiple glazes of clear resin, creating a sense of preservation and depth that oscillates as the viewer moves. These works aim to capture a sense of burgeoning vitality, exploring how suspended pigments and physical layering can give the abstract concept of "new life" a deep, resonant, and tangible presence.
